Healing, Resilience, and Hope
I hold a doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Eastern University and have over 15 years of experience working with individuals of all ages, couples and families. I have experience working in children's advocacy, working with homeless women and their children and in working with families in crisis. I value the role of faith and spirituality in healing. It is always your choice whether to discuss and/or include matters of faith in your therapy.
I offer a variety of services to meet the unique needs of clients including individual therapy for adults, adolescents and children, couples therapy and family therapy. I have extensive experience working with trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder, as well as a specialization in partner and family relationships.
Our relationships and environments are key to our well-being. My approach is rooted in attachment science with the belief that over the lifespan our need for connection with others shapes our responses to stress, our everyday emotional lives and the dilemmas we often face. My integrated approach draws upon a variety of theories and techniques to best meet the specific needs of the client.
